New Wilmington has its roots grounded in the concept of community. It is a place where your neighbors know not just your name, but will happily lend out tools, extend an invitation for a backyard barbecue, and bake blueberry muffins for the new family on the block.

We live together. And living together implies that we make a constant and conscious effort to support and encourage one other, our businesses, and all of the energy being put forth for the betterment of New Wilmington.

There are many opportunities for entertainment, connection, and celebration in our area. Be sure to regularly check the Calendar for a complete list of happenings.

We also must recognize all of the talent, services, and ventures living in our town on a daily basis. Check out the Get Local page to discover, and rediscover, all that is available in and around 16142.

Finally, nothing can happen in a community without the help of many hands contributing to the good work. We would strongly encourage everyone to reflect on how they might Get Involved in the good future of New Wilmington. Some committees has already been formed, and there is always room for more – more voices, more ideas, more passion to see our community succeed.

For the love of New Wilmington.
