The Fresh Marketplace at New Wilmington Center will feature a variety of special events and vendors from 4 – 7 p.m. Thursday, August 4 on Chestnut Street in New Wilmington.
The weekly farmers market features music, demonstrations, and a vendor marketplace.
Karole Longbrake, painter and owner of Karole Longbrake Gallery, will sell items from her gallery. Local artists including Olivia Lockhart will feature arrangements, homemade candles and potpourri; Stan Kaufman will sell wooden cutting boards; Pure and Simple will sell jewelry and personal care items; and Mary Beth and Sam Beneviat will sell fishing flies and rare gemstone jewelry.
Volant Bible School (VBS) will provide music and children’s activity.
Fresh Marketplace attendees can purchase ready-to-order meals, meats, cheese, bread, chocolates, eggs, fresh greens, herbs, and berries. Featured produce will include heirloom tomatoes, corn, peaches, plums, and more.
