Name, Occupation: Nathan Hunter, 7th Grade Teacher
Describe New Wilmington in three words. Little, big world.
Who are the last three people you called/texted? What’s their significance in your life? My wife, Nicole, who is incredibly talented, passionate, a fun friend and cool roommate; my mother, I’m still unsure how she managed to make it through family dinners when I was a pleasant teenager :); my brother, who once threw a door handle at my head when we were three. We’ve since made up.
What was a lesson you learned this week? One lesson I’ve learned this week is to find time to breath fresh air every day.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer? I’m looking forward to a road trip! Not sure where we’re going, but we’re going. Anyone want to puppy sit?
If you could could have any superpower, what would it be? It’s not so much a superpower, but a super machine. Does anyone remember Adventures in Odyssey? Many a Hunter vacation was spent listening to this quintessential road trip tape. The characters would travel back in time, and as such, I would totally want to have a time machine to bounce around in. I would want to see what my grandparents were like at my age.
If you could switch places with one person for the day, who would it be? Donald Trump. No explanation needed.
What’s your favorite part of your home? I have enjoyed our family room. Lots of windows, a wood stove, and a big comfy couch.
What’s your favorite day of the week? Why? Sundays. I love walks around the college with my favorite person, and strangely-human dog. Boom. That’s it!
