Name, Email, Occupation: Sally Huey, newly retired from Westminster College!
Who are the last three people you called/texted? What’s their significance in your life? Daughter Bethany in Germany, daughter Rachel in Stow, OH, and friend Jill, moving from HHI, South Carolina to Pittsburgh.
What was a lesson you learned this week? I was reminded of the fragility of life and the need to prop each other up.
What are you most looking forward to in the summer? Working through my pile of books, exercising outdoors, travel, celebrating our 40th anniversary with my dear husband, being Marmee to Gemma – and to Selah from a distance.
If you could could have any superpower, what would it be? X-ray vision to see the heart behind the facade.
If you could switch lives with one person for the day, who would it be? Mary of Bethany – to sit at the feet of Jesus… and listen.
What’s your favorite part of your home? My love seat (or as Dar calls it, my “reading bench”) in the parlor.
What’s your favorite day of the week? Why? Saturday, of course! Even in retirement, with six days of Saturdays, there is something psychologically restorative about a Saturday morning.
